DOCUMENTA(’)T. ‘GRÀCIES PER LA PLUJA’
‘Gracias por la lluvia’ (‘Thank You For The Rain’) is a confrontation of visions on climate change represented by two opposing worlds: the harsh African reality and the comfort of the West. The film chronicles the struggle of Kenyan farmer Kisilu Musya who began documenting the impact of climate change in his village and ended up as a guest at the 2015 Paris climate summit.
Through the story of its protagonist, ‘Thank You For The Rain‘ addresses various aspects related to climate change, such as climate justice, education, access to water, climate refugees or adaptation.
